Extension of Income Tax Return filling date for the FY 2018-19

Vide Notification No. 56/2020/ F. No. 370142/23/2020-TPL dated 29th July, 2020, the deadline for filling the Income Tax return has further extended till 30th September, 2020.

This is for the third time that deadline for the Income Tax Return has been Extended.

First time, the due date of filling return has been extended from 31st March,2020 to 30th June,2020.

Second time, on 24th June,2020  the due date was again extended to the 31st day of July, 2020;   

Third time, Vide Notification dated 29th July, 2020 CBDT has further extended the due date from 31st day of July, 2020 to 30th September, 2020.
